Kilos Against Cancer is an organization that is dedicated to raising both awareness and donations for cancer organizations through the sport of Olympic Weightlifting.

Adler Edwards, Founder
My name is Adler Edwards and I am the founder of "Kilos Against Cancer". I was born with a rare type of blood cancer called Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis (LCH) which is where there are too many white blood cells in the body and they attack other body systems.
I went through over a year of chemotherapy followed by a bone marrow transplant at just under two years old. I was very lucky with all the support that I had and that my treatment worked, but not all cancer patients are this lucky.
Now that I am 20 I am a weightlifting athlete and coach, the sport of Olympic Weightlifting has made me stronger than I could have imagined. Kilos against cancer takes my love for the sport of weightlifting and my desire to do what I can to help with cancer research, cancer patients going through treatment, and the families of those patients the best I can.
